LOST is the first chapter of Static Divide’s Finding Your Way Through trilogy — a dark, cinematic journey into the fractured mind of a man who has lost his sense of self.
Driven by raw emotion, heavy guitars, electronic atmospheres and an increasingly unsettling narrative, the album explores grief, anger, isolation, betrayal, revenge and survival. Each song reveals another piece of a mind coming undone, as the line between memory, imagination and reality becomes harder to distinguish.
At the centre of LOST is one question:
What happens when the person you need to escape from is yourself?
The album can be interpreted as a metaphorical journey — The witness confronting his past, burying the person he used to be and destroying everything that once defined him. Or perhaps the story is much more literal. Maybe the darkness isn't inside his head. Maybe we're simply seeing the world through the eyes of a man who has finally become lost within it.

THE METAPHORICAL
The artwork explores the darker corners of the human mind — the thoughts, anger, resentment and inner voice we all experience but rarely act upon. Across the imagery, a man confronts the person he used to be, ultimately burying that version of himself beneath the weight of everything he has survived. It is a metaphor for destruction, rebirth and the brutal process of leaving your old identity behind. He isn't killing someone else. He's killing the man he was.
THE LITERAL
Or perhaps there is no metaphor at all. The artwork can be viewed through the fractured perspective of a lost and increasingly unhinged man, wandering through the night with something buried — and something far darker still alive inside him. The viewer is never told whether they are witnessing a symbolic breakdown or the aftermath of something real. Maybe he's burying his old self. Maybe he's burying someone else. And that's where the story becomes uncomfortable: you decide what actually happened.
